Slate Run Living Historical Farm
Take a short hike to our sugar bush to learn about maple trees and how to make maple syrup. Find out what types of trees to use, how to tap them and collect sap, and how to process the sap into maple syrup. Program is designed for school age children or older.
IMPORTANT! When registering for a program, please be sure to change the quantity to reflect the number of people in your family (adults AND children). This is to ensure we keep the group size below 10 people. Please only register individuals in your own household.
If you can no longer come to your registered time, please cancel your reservation to let us know and so someone else may take your spot.
Information regarding COVID-19 and programming:
*Metro Park programs will be pre-registration only and in small sizes to meet current Ohio safety guidelines.
*Gatherings of 10 and less will be followed. Only registered participants should plan on attending programs.
*Do not attend if you are exhibiting symptoms of Covid-19.
*Face coverings will be required during programs for all participants over the age of 4.
*Social distancing of six feet for non-household members will be encouraged.
*Participants will be turned away if not registered.
*Metro Parks reserves the right to ask participants to leave if not following instruction or creating unsafe situations for others.
