Greetings and welcome!
In addition to the current online services and electronic submission options, limited in-person services are now available at the U.S. Copyright Office by appointment only. Our current in-person services are for submitting claims, access to online resources, requesting certified copies of certificates or copyright deposits, picking up copies, filing a registration or document, licensing services, and other in-person business.
Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. We ask that you adhere to the Library’s enhanced health and safety protocols, including mask requirements and social distancing, which apply to patrons accessing Library buildings, regardless of their vaccination status.
Also, please be prepared to show a digital or printed copy of your email confirmation at the Madison Building entrance.
NOTE: Due to renovations, the Copyright Public Records Reading Room remains temporarily closed. We apologize for any inconvenience.
For all other services and assistance, please contact us at 1 (877) 476-0778 (toll-free) or 202-707-3000. The Office will continue to provide online assistance for registering works, searching copyright-related records, and obtaining other services. More information about current online services and electronic submission options can be found at copyright.gov/coronavirus/ and copyright.gov/coronavirus/filing-options/.
Due to limited slots at this time, please select no more than 2 slots per person each day.
Thanking you in advance!
