We are in need of volunteers to be at the Delaware Co. Board of Elections to hand out the sample ballots to voters as they go in to early vote. We are setting up a schedule of 2-3 hour shifts. This role is so important because, as we mentioned, judicial candidates do not have party affiliation with their names! Here is what to do?
1. Sign up for as many slots as you can!
2. Pick up sample ballots at the home of David & Judy Carpenter at 932 Executive Blvd in Delaware. They have a plastic bin on their porch with packets of 50. You may also print your own by downloading the ballot here: https://bit.ly/DelCoDemBallot. If you print your own, please also read the instructions here.
3. Go to the Delaware County Board of Elections (2079 US Highway 23, Delaware, in the Big Lots complex). You must be 100 feet away from the door, which is marked with flags. Please bring your own chair to sit. Dress for the weather but wear campaign gear if you have it! Say hello to anyone walking by and ask them if they would like a Democratic Sample Ballot.
4. Come back and sign up for more!

Note: as long as you are outside the 100 foot area marked by the flags, this is a legal activity. You are able to hand out campaign literature and wear political clothing and hats. (ORC 3501.35)
