2020 Fall Concessions

Thank you for supporting the New Palestine Band Boosters! The funds we raise through concessions help to make our programs successful and affordable for all.

PLEASE NOTE: The times listed indicate when we need to be prepared to OPEN. Volunteers should arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the posted time to assist Managers as needed.  The conclusion of each shift will roughly coincide with the end of the game.  Football games will require us to open and operate BOTH concession stands at the stadium and therefore requires more volunteers.  Soccer games will require only one outdoor stand.  Volleyball will operate from the indoor stand between the Main and Aux gyms.  Students are welcome to volunteer and support their own cause, however, do keep in mind that we need responsible adults to handle money.

In order to receive credit for shifts worked, volunteers MUST be present for the entire shift.  To ensure proper credit is applied, you will be asked to sign in upon your arrival AND sign out at the conclusion of your shift.  Due to the complexity involved with tracking partial shifts and in an effort to maintain fairness, CREDIT WILL ONLY BE ISSUED TO VOLUNTEERS WHO WORK FULL SHIFTS.  The manager for each shift will determine the cut-off time for signing in and the release time for signing out.  Please understand we cannot make exceptions for late arrivals/early departures. 

CANCELLATIONS: If after signing up for a shift you become unable to work, PLEASE remove yourself from the sign-up so others can see the available slot.

MANAGERS*: Managers are responsible for opening and closing the stand day to day. Managers should plan to arrive 30-45 minutes prior to the posted time in order to attend to the following preparations:

  • Count money
  • Begin popping popcorn
  • Begin warming hot dogs

*Manager shifts should only be filled by those who have experience with managing the concession stand and are comfortable completing the required paperwork.  We are looking for more detail-oriented people to learn this role.  If you are interested in becoming a manager, please contact Krystal Jeffries to arrange training.
