Putting for Parkinson's
The time has arrived. The Annual Putting for Parkinson's golf outing is scheduled for Friday, July 12th, 2019. Our 10 year Anniversary! So if you are receiving this email you have either helped in the past (thank you), you have showed interested in helping (this would be the year), or I received your name from someone that said you may be interested in helping (please do its a lot of fun).
For those of you who may not know me. I am Hannah Condon. I've been on the committee for the past 4 years. You may have seen me taking pictures at the event or see my postings on our Facebook page. I am taking over as volunteer coordinator for Kim Kelsay. She had to take a step back from her duties due to family and her new job! She has been with us the last 9 years working hard and we can't thank her enough!
I just wanted to first say -Thank you all very much for taking the time out of each of your very busy schedules to help, I know that everyone has families and jobs and please know that your time is greatly appreciated by Scott, Joy and the whole P4P committee. This year will be very similar to last year in regards to we again will be having two flights. Yes two, which means I will need volunteers for morning and afternoon. We will be getting rid of hole #18 AM and PM for volunteers and the battle balloon station AM and PM. Hole #18 was the dress up hole, the committee felt that game has become stale and nobody really wanted to join in. The battle ballons, volunteers were blowing them up and handing out around dinner time. We are getting rid of it and putting a new option called Fund the Need. Volunteers will just be handing out bid paddles to the golfers. The numbers will correspond with the golfers registration #. So if you know of anyone else interested in helping please please forward their email to me or give mine to them. I never turn down a volunteer. My email is [email protected] .
Please note when signing up on Sign up Genius, if there is a (2) behind the slot, that means I need two volunteers for that time slot, so SIGN UP A FRIEND TOO. If you would like to volunteer with a friend, please have them sign up when you do. I can't promise that spot will be opened for them as we have and will need a lot of volunteers. Also please feel free to sign up for as many slots as you would like that day. It a great day and loads of fun.
