Renaissance Festival Volunteer Sign-up

Calling all volunteers to join us for the South River High School Music Booster's first fundraiser of the 2022-2023 year.  We need 21 total people, 7 adults and 14 students (14 years or older) to work the soda stands at the Renaissance Festival on Sunday, August 28, 2022.  

Deadline for sign up is 11:59 pm on August 24, 2022.  We need to provide names of volunteers to Renn Fest on Thursday, August 25, 2022.  Volunteers will be informed by email the morning of the 25th.  I believe there will be 1 adult for each booth with two or three youth workers, as well as a Renn Fest employee to oversee us.

Volunteers are required to wear a white shirt and either dark blue or khaki pants.  You are allowed to wear an appropriate renaisance costume, subject to approval by the work coordinator.  Volunteers are issued a tunic to wear when in the stand working.

Arrival is 9:00 am (no later than 9:15) for check-in at Gate P.  You will then proceed to staging area across street from the Festival Office for orientation and costuming.  Orientatlon begins promptly at 9:30 am and the park opens at 10:00 am.  Each individaul will work from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm and will be given a 1/2 hr lunch break and two 15-min mini breaks.

It is a fun and entertaining event and promises to be the beginning of a great Music Program year!
