PTO Volunteers

After two full years of no in-person events due to COVID we need to identify new volunteers willing to help with PTO events. The Wickham PTO provides vital monetary support for field trips, playground equipment, technology, classroom supplies and special educational opportunities such as Chess Club, Spanish Club and Science Fair. Without additional volunteer support we will no longer be able to provide the funding and enrichment events that we have in the past. Please consider helping this year!

PTO Exec Board - VP of Committees

School year commitment. Serve as member of PTO Executive Board. Attend monthly Executive Board Meeting and monthly general PTO meeting. Coordinate with various committee chairs to ensure events are being planned and supported.

Chair, Teacher Appreciation Events

Responsible for ordering, delivery and coordinating teacher appreciation meals. May include coordinating volunteers who donate food, paper goods and drinks. Decide on vendors, meal themes and coordinate with front office.

Chair, Fall Fun Fair

Oversee the planning and volunteer recruitement for Fall Fun Fair. Coordinate games, activities and food for the event with the help of a committee.

Co-Chair, Fall Fun Fair

Work with chair to plan food, games and volunteers for the event.

Chair, Silent Auction at Fall Fun Fair

Obtain & organize donations from local business, Wickham families, & Wickham classrooms into basket prizes for bidding at auction.

I am going to be a new parent to the Wickham family this fall. My oldest daughter will be a kindergartner! I’m excited to get involved!

Co-Chair, Silent Auction Fall Fun Fair

Assists chair in obtaining and organizing donations for silent auction. Coordinate volunteers to assist at event.

Chair, Talent Show

Organize the talent show. Recruit performers, coordinate ticket sales and venue, run dress rehearsal and the show. The Talent Show is generally held in mid February.
