Chair

Oversees and plans the events with the committee. Leads the H&S meetings (five a year). Attends the SAC monthly meetings (ten a year).

Secretary

Attends the H&S meetings, takes notes and helps plan events. Attends SAC meeting when the chair is absent. Helps to advertise upcoming events in the weekly newsletter, website, Facebook, school hallway monitors, flyers and posters.

Treasurer

Attends the H&S meetings and helps plan events. Submits reimbusement paperwork to the Elem. admin and keeps track of the budget. Also, reconciles monthly statements with GRACE reports. Helps the committee plan a yearly budget.

Spirituality Coordinator

Attends the H&S meetings (five) and monthly SAC meetings (ten). Plans spirituality events and prayers throughout the school year.

New Family Mentor

Welcomes all new families to NDDP with a small gift provided by H&S by delivering it to their homes. Answers new family questions throughout the year via phone, face to face or email.

Back to School Staff lunch coordinator

Orders and plans the back to school NDDP staff lunch using H&S funds. This luncheon typically take place the week before school starts. Set up and clean up the day of.

Tailgate Dinner- back to school night

This is our back to school supply drop off evening. Plan and purchase food/beverages for the cookout. All purchases are reimbursed by H&S. Create a signup genius for families to help during the event. Set up and clean up included.

Grandparents Day coordinator

Plan and help the morning of our Grandparent/Grandfriend Mass and classroom tours. Help organize volunteers to direct visitors in both buildings.

Fall Fest games coordinator

Plan and purchase items (reimbursed via H&S) for our October Fall Fest event. Typically 10-13 age appropriate games and order prizes

Fall Fest meal coordinator (2)

Plan and purchase food/beverages for the meal portion of Fall Fest (reimbursement via H&S). Set up and clean up the night of the event. Work within the budget and manage volunteers the night of.

Fall Fest decorations coordinator

Plan and purchase items (reimbursement via H&S) to use as decorations for our October Fall Fest event. Set up the morning of and clean up that night.

Veteran's Day program

Help the school/music teacher plan the Veteran's Day Mass or assembly. Host a small coffee after the event for the Veterans and families.

Catholic School's Week coordinator

SPIRITUALITY: Work with the committee to plan and help volunteers with CSW events. This usually takes place the last week in January, planning starts in Nov/Dec.

Donuts for Dads coordinator

Order donuts, drinks and supplies for this event. Set up the evening before and clean up after the event. Advertise this event for school families.

Muffins for Moms coordinator

Order the muffins, drinks and supplies for this event. Set up the evening before and clean up after the event. Advertise this event with the school familes.

Box Top coordinator

*This program is moving to a more online format. Plan Box Top collection dates, advertise with the school families, plan clasroom prizes for the winning rooms (reimbursed via H&S).

Austin's receipts coordinator

Throughout the year gather any Austin's reciepts turned into the offices. At the end of each school year total the receipts and turn into Austin's for a % back refund.

Christmas Scrip for Staff coordinator

Create a spreadsheet to send home to all NDDP families explaining the Christmas scrip giving opportunity. Once the forms are turned in organize the amounts, work with the scrip coordinators and distribute certificate to the staff.

St John's Homeless Shelter Meal coordinator

Coordinate with St. John's Homeless Shelter dates and meals for NDDP to bring a meal and extra items. The number of meals can range from 6-12 from November to April. Make the Signup Genius' and be available to help transport the meal to St. John's.

Adopt a Family coordinator

Coordinate with the principal/teachers at the school to make a signup for volunteers to donate items for needing families. Organize a gift wrapping session and distribution of gifts to the recipients.

School Directory coordinator

Work with the school online database (myschoolanywhere.com) to update the school directory. Continue to add families that join midyear. This activity usually happens during the beginning of the school year.

Prayer Request Website coordinator

SPIRITUALITY: Manage the prayer request website link and forward the prayer request to desired recipients.

Meal Request coordinator

Reach out to families in need of meal support (ie. birth, death of a family member, major surgery, illness). Work with the staff to communicate your role and pass along names of families who may be in need. Make a signup for NDDP families to assist.

Nativity Display coordinator

SPIRITUALITY: Work with the St. Mary and NDDP maintenance to bring the wooden Nativity pieces from the church to the school at the start of the Advent season. Return the pieces to the church after the Epiphany.

Teacher Appreciation Week coordinator

Along with the H&S committee plan the daily events of this week in early May. Pre-planning is needed. Organize volunteers and donations to make this week spectacular.

Birthday cards for NDDP staff

Celebrate each of our NDDP staff with a birthday card and small gift card. Birthdates and gift cards are provided by H&S.
