About Your Leader:
WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO ROCC? After a full year of church hopping in the Boro, my husband and I were both craving connection with fellow believers and knew we needed to find a church to call our own. In December of 2017, we attended our first ROCC service. Everyone was so incredibly welcoming and Pastor John’s Coming Home for Christmas series spoke directly to our hearts. We felt at home immediately and knew God was orchestrating the connections we made so quickly.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A MEMBER AT ROCC? 4 years
IF MARRIED, HOW LONG? 8 years
CHILDREN? HOW MANY AND AGES? We have 2 fur children, our dogs, Cheyenne and Scully.
HOBBIES OR INTERESTS? Whether it’s hiking scenic trails, taking a neighborhood walk, laying by a pool or just sitting on my patio, I’m happiest when I’m outside! I also love reading historical fiction and mysteries. If I’m not outdoors or reading a book, you can find me on the couch with my dog binging crime docs.
FAVORITE PEOPLE IN THE BIBLE? Hannah and not just because we share a name. Although as a child, that’s what drew me first to her story. I love Hannah’s heart; she was sensitive and yet so strong. She knew that God could handle her big emotions and instead of bottling them up, she took them straight to Him knowing only He could lighten her load. Her faith inspires me to bring it all to Him-the good, the bad and the ugly.
FAVORITE SCRIPTURE(S): Romans 8:6-“The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.”
