Project Hawai’i, Inc. Summer Camp
Aloha amazing donor!!
We are so grateful to have your support towards our teen mentoring program this summer. While we travel to Kona for 4 days, we are counting on your support for our meals.
- Service Meals for 6
- 3 Breakfasts
- 2 Lunches
- 3 Dinners (including the Food Truck Friday)
Project Hawai’i, Inc. is a volunteer staffed nonprofit that is solely supported by public donations. We run a free summer educational program for homeless children and teens. Our residency program for our teen mentors is 2 weeks and we travel the island to provide experiences otherwise out of the financial reach of our teens. Our program is designed to help teach the life and social skills needed for our homeless children to succeed in school and end their cycle of poverty.
Our itinerary for the teens is completely full of service projects, fundraisers, workshops and adventures that teach cultural and environmental lessons. With this in mind, we are busy!! We are seeking premade meals or sponsorship for local eateries to support our local companies (not fast foods). So, if you would like to sponsor our group to eat at your favorite cafe for lunch, that is awesome too... we can work out those details. In addition to help support our local food trucks on Friday at the HPM parking lot, we are also requesting funds for that night...
I have put together meal menu items in the sign up slots based off the Costco choices. If while shopping they are out of items, please substitute and you are welcome to text me while shopping for assistance at (808) 987-6018.
DROP OFF DATES/LOCATION: All menu items need to be dropped off at our Condo in Kona on Ali'i drive on July 15th in the evening or 16th before 10am, or you can meet us at COSTCO on the 15th while we shop for what is not sponsored. Once you sign up we can make arrangements.
WE ARE ALSO EXCITED!! One of our teen mentors is having their birthday while on this trip. There is a slot to sign up for her birthday cake/ice cream sponsorship as well.
