MARA Book Drive for the Maynard Public Schools

Thank you for helping purchase books by Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) authors and featuring BIPOC characters for our schools. It matters! If you'd like to know more about why, check out this Ted Talk by Grace LIn: The Windows and Mirrors of Your Child's Bookshelf. 

Here are the two ways you can donate. Chose the one that works for you: 

*Select a book from the list below that you'd like us to purchase for the Maynard Public Schools. These books have been requested by our Maynard educators. 

Here's a link to information about each book to help you decide. 

If you'd like a bookplate added to that book, tell us what it should say. You'll see a request for this information when you submit your name and email address. (Bookplates are often worded like these examples"In honor of Jane Doe" or "In memory of John Doe" or "With gratitude towards Emily Doe.")
