FPC - Family Promise
Hello friends! Our next Family Promise Host week is coming right up. Please use this sign up to volunteer as a dinner cook or Christmas Cheer Elf the week of December 20-26. There are currently two families in shelter, but this could change in the next few weeks. Stay tuned! Due to Covid, families are housed in local hotels, but also spend time at the Day Center, at work, meetings, and planning for the future.
Our primary role is to provide dinner four nights of the week. The meals will need to be packaged separately for each family, and delivered to the drop off station at the Family Promise Day Center. More detailed instructions will be provided as we get closer to December 20. If you are not able to deliver the dinners, please contact Kathy Pitman or Mary Read for assistance.
ELVES NEEDED! Since this is Christmas Week, we plan to share some Christmas Cheer with the families - some extra items that we can tuck into the meal package as an added surprise. Nadine Morton and Dianne Daley Laursen have agreed to coordinate this, but we need contributions. THANKS EVERYONE. We now have all of the Christmas Elves that we need!
Once again, Quail Run LDS church will serve as co-hosts. Moscow FPC is hosting Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, and Quail Run will host Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. This sign-up is for FPC volunteers to use. If you have questions about the sign-up or need assistance, please contact Mary Read, [email protected] or 208.301.0146. Thank you for helping these families!
