Community Kitchen Contact Leaders
Tree of Life's Community Garden Ministry is offering fun and educational events throughout the summer and fall for ALL! These events are open to all TOL Partners, Volunteers, Children, as well as the local community.
The Community Garden is located off of Maple Avenue in Purcellville. Take Maple Ave. toward Lincoln to the Village Case community development and take a left on Pipers Brook Way. Go halfway around the circle and take your first left on to Kinvara Place. Around the curve you will see an old barn and garden in front of it. Parking is on the street.
The schedule of events is as follows:
May 15, 6:30pm - "A Healthy Garden" (We'll discuss healthy ingredients to make a healthy garden. Participants will plant their own plant to take home.)
June 12, 6:30pm - "Pollinators" (Learn who the pollinators are and their importance. Participants will make bug baths.)
July 24, 6:30pm - "Good Guys/Bad Guys" (Learn about beneficial and detrimental critters in the garden. Participants will plant their own plant that attracts pollinators to take home.)
August 4, 6:30pm - "Monarch Butterfly Release!"
Please sign up here to attend any or all of the above events.
I look forward to meeting you in the garden! Lynda Carr - TOL Community Garden Ministry Leader [email protected]
