What: Donate blood to make a life-saving difference for patients in need — right here in our community.

What: Making cards for military boxes, care bags, and the Woods Mullen Shelter.

Cheer Packages for Military
What: Preparing packages to send to servicemen and women overseas
Time: 8:30 – 12 UCC Fellowship Hall
Age Range: 10 and up

What: Description can be package and sort women’s sanitary products and undergarments for distribution to homeless shelters, schools and food pantries.
Time: 9:15 – 11:15am at Dignity Matter Warehouse, 861 Edgell Road, Framingham
Age Range: Middle School and older

What: Pilgrim Church Community Lunch, Dorchester - Preparing, serving and sharing a weekly free noontime meal in Dorchester, typically attended by 85 people . (Attendees are a mix of people who are hungry for nutritious food or fellowship or both.)
Time 8:30-3:00 (Leave for Dorchester right after worship service and return home when meal is cleaned up.)
Location: Pilgrim Congregational Church, 540 Columbia Road, Dorchester
# of people: 10 plus leader
Age range: 8 years and up; under 14 must be accompanied by a parent

Cradles to Crayons
What: Sort clothing, fill “orders” for clothing or goods for someone in need, kids put toys back together that arrive in parts since who knows better what belongs with what than a kid.
Time: AM (10 -12) & PM (1:30 -3:30) Sessions Available at the Cradles to Crayons Warehouse in Brighton
Age: 5 and up

Medfield Food Cupboard
What: Prepare packages for Thanksgiving meals, sort and clean shelves and more
Time: 8:30 – 12, Medfield Food Cupboard
Age: 12 and up

New Life Furniture Bank, 102 Elm St, Walpole, MA 02081
What: Tasks will include greeting donors, receiving furniture and household items, cleaning, merchandising, picking up furniture from donors homes in New Life’s truck and loading furniture into client’s U-hauls. Many tasks do not require lifting. Great spot for high school students.
Time: 8:30-12:00 AM, meet at warehouse.
Age: 14 years old and older

Place of Promise
What: Place of Promise is a non-profit that consists of four homes in Lowell where people who are recovering from alcohol or drug abuse live and participate in a faith-based recovery program. We will plan to participate in morning devotions, do either outdoor or clean-up activities, share lunch with the residents and learn about the program at Place of Promise and hear some of the residents’ testimonies.
Time: Gather at 8a.m. at UCC Medfield to carpool to Lowell; end approximately 3:00 return to UCC.
Age: 16 years and up

Soup To Go - Meal Prep (7 - 9pm Friday, 11/1), Meal Prep & Cleanup (7 -10am, 11/2),
Woods Mullen Shelter Meal Service (9:30 am - 2pm) What: This ministry will be going to the Woods Mullen Shelter to spend time with guests serving lunch and Karoake.
Time: Meal Prep (7 - 10am) Woods Mullen Shelter (9:30 am - 2pm)
Age: 10 and up to cook, to serve at shelters you must 17 and older

SAVERS Clothing and Textile Drive for SHF Mission Trip
What: Please bring in your gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, textiles, hats, mittens, scarfs, blankets, sheets, towels, placemats, and tableclothes to donate to SAVERS. SHF will receive cash for the donations.
Time: Drop off at Miller Street
Age: open to the young, young at heart, families and youth.

Straw Hat Park, Medfield Beautification Project
What: Fall Clean Up, pruning and care of perennials.
Time: Meet at Straw Hat Park at 10 - 12pm.
Age: open to the young, young at heart, families and youth. Please bring your work gloves and shovels.

Baby Sitting by will be provided on 11/2/19 from 8:30am - 12:00. ++++

+ We will be providing t-shirts to new attendees. Please email Jamie O'Loughlin at [email protected] to request a shirt.
+ If you have attended Mission Possible in the past, please wear the shirt that was provided, thank you. If you can't find your t-shirt please email Jamie.
+ Has your child outgrown their t-shirt? If so, please bring it into the Church so we can recycle it.
Can't Attend but want to help make a difference? Attending and want to do more? Please consider signing up to bring in the following items. Don't forget to bring the following goodies to share with our friends in need:
Can Goods for the Medfield Food Cupboard and/or
New Children socks and underwear for Cradles to Crayons used clothing for Mission Trip Clothing Drive and/or
Leftover Halloween candy for the Military packages and/or
Toiletries, in particular, feminine care products for Dignity Matters, and/or diapers and wipes for Medway Family Shelter.
