DS Neighborhood Closet
Our December 4th Community Clothing Event will distribute gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories in all sizes. Families with a referral from a school parent liaison, Dulles South Food Pantry, or one of our partner churches or temples have priority. Appropriate clothing that exceeds the needs of the Dulles South community will be shared with charities assisting Afghan refugees.
Many volunteers are needed to collect and organize donated clothing, to run the event, and to clean up at the end. Volunteers must be at least age 12. Volunteers under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers who serve during the actual event must be at least age 18 and out of high school to protect the privacy of our guest families.
If you are a new volunteer, please complete our online volunteer registration form at Dulles South Neighborhood Closet Volunteer Registration (google.com) and watch this brief orientation video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PBPGJt9Nls before your shift. If your plans change, please take your name off this sign up as soon as possible so that another volunteer may take your place. When you arrive, please go to the volunteer check-in area to receive an assignment.
Thank you for volunteering with Dulles South Neighborhood Closet.
