Memorialize The Movement
We are transporting the mural, and structures to hold them, from our storage facility to the park and we need your help! There will be a team to load the structures into the truck at Northrup King, and a team to unload the structures and set them up in the park. After this phase, we will load the murals to be displayed onto the truck to park overnight, and begin setting them up Saturday morning. Deinstall will also require many of the same volunteers. Breaks and lunches will be provided to all volunteers. Breaks to get hydrated, to go to the bathroom, and get some stretches in will also be provided to make sure the well-being of all volunteers are cared for. If you have any dietary restrictions, or accomdations, please state below in the comment portion when you sign-up. All volunteers will receive a free shirt as well!
Requirements of volunteering: Don't forget your PPE! This is a requirement for all volunteers and visitors, regardless of the mask mandate ending. We will have some masks (and work gloves + sanitizer available) but encourage you all to bring your own. If you have eye and ear protection and a cordless electric drill, you are highly encouraged to bring those items as well! (along with anything else you foresee as being useful.)
