Every Religious School Sunday, two volunteers are needed to spend 45 minutes (11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.) slicing bagels, putting them on platters, setting out cream cheese, cleaning up, and putting supplies away. Detailed instructions are written below.
NOTE: YOU WILL FIND ALL SUPPLIES FOR THE BAGELS IN THE MIDDLE CABINET LABELED "CONGREGATION HAKAFA" IN COMMUNITY ROOM 4.
Hakafa Bagel Instructions:
It is generally good to get started on set up around 11:30am. All of the supplies for the bagels are upstairs in the Takiff Center in COMMUNITY ROOM 4 - there is a cabinet labeled Congregation Hakafa and inside is a bin with the basket trays/napkins/knives/bagel cutters/etc. All of the bagels will have already been delivered to the kitchen at the end of the hall just outside the room where we meet. You will need to slice all of the bagels and set them on the basket trays and open the cream cheese and put some knives around the table. Please put a single layer of paper towel or napkins on the trays. There are two tables outside of the room where we meet that we use for the bagels. They can be rolled into the Community Room for serving - please roll back into the hall when done. When people have finished eating all supplies need to be put back into the bin and back into the cabinet. Any extra bagels can be taken home.
