Our Lady of Grace Parish
We are always looking for families, individuals, or representatives from various parish ministries/groups to bring up the gifts during the Offertory at weekend Masses! The Offertory Procession is a simple, yet vital and beautiful part of the Mass. Bringing up the gifts is also a great way to further participate in the Mass as your family or ministry/group marks special occasions such as reception of a sacrament, anniversaries, the opening or closing of a ministry year, birthdays, etc.!
Bringing up the gifts is easy! When the Offertory hymn begins (after the General Intercessions conclude), please make your way to the small table (called the "credence table") in the middle of church, where you will find the gifts. When you see the celebrant make his way to the foot of the altar, that's your cue to walk up to meet him with the gifts. He will take the gifts, you will bow after all the gifts are given, and then you'll head back to your pew. That's it! :)
If you sign up to take up the gifts, please visit the sacristy in the front of church when you arrive at Mass to initial a sign-in sheet, indicating that you are is present.
Please review the available slots below and click on the corresponding button to sign up to take up the gifts during the Mass(es) of your choice. (Offertory sign-ups will be offered for two months at a time. As the end of the second month draws near, we'll post the next two months' worth of sign-ups, and so on.) If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Maddie Appleby at [email protected] or (215)-757-7700. Thank you for your participation in this beautiful and significant part of the Mass! :)
