Lubber Run Farmers Market Volunteers 2021

Please select the time slot you'd like to volunteer at the market, Saturdays, April 17, through November 20. Please note that the first three slots for each market day are for the market managers working that day and for those responsible for bringing and removing the trailer. Once a volunteer has signed up for a time slot, the slot will be closed, although several time periods have multiple slots.

Here is a brief description of the tasks:

Set-up & Opening (7:00 to 8:00 a.m.) requires putting up the signage, LRFM tents, etc., and assisting vendors as needed.

Market Booth (7:45 to 9:30 a.m., 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.) Tasks include making sure market activities are flowing well; manning the LRFM booth and other activities as the market manager requests; answering questions; advising any person in the market with a dog that dogs (other than service dogs) are not permitted due to federal and Arlington health regulations; keeping the market tidy; and assisting the market manager to ensure that market vendors and customers adhere to the applicable state and county guidance and LRFM policies on the operation of a farmers market under the current COVID-19 pandemic conditions, including social distancing. Extra credit: Taking photos in the market and posting them to social media!

Market Booth, Breakdown, & Closing (11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) - Tasks include manning the market booth as the market winds down; packing up the market tent and supplies; breaking down the LRFM tents for transport; removing the market traffic signage. Assisting vendors needing help with packing up their gear.
