"Traveling/Living Together"

In this lesson, students will become acclimated with class mates & to the concept of confirmation. This lesson introduces the explanation of the membership vows that will lay the foundation for teens accepting to be active parts of the congregation.

"Loving/Belonging Together"

This lesson will push teens to consider how coming together in Christian love can be a strong witness to God's love for all. Teens will also evaluate their interest in being a part of a faith community as well as being in a relationship with God.

"The Faith of Jesus"

This lesson will be framed with the story of Jesus' own time spent in the temple learning from his elders as a young boy. It will explore the history of the Israelites and will prepare students for their own journey into the history of Methodism.

"The Early Church/The Reformation"

This lesson will give students an overview of church history from the beginning of the church through the Reformation, which reshaped the church and gave rise to new denominations, including The United Methodist Church.

This lesson will focus on the growth and development of the Methodist movement and the founding of The United Methodist Church. It will explore the history of the church in the US from the time immediately after Coke & Asbury through modern day.

In this lesson, students will explore the things that are important to the heart of United Methodist worship and also explore and engage the rich resource that is our Unites Methodist Hymnal.

In this lesson, students will explore the elements and significance of the UM practice of Holy Communion, baptism and confirmation, and how grace moves through these events.

In this lesson, students will will explore the Social Principals of The United Methodist Church and what it means to live lives dedicated to mission.

This lesson will introduce the idea of trust and how it is essential in the context of our relationship with God. Students will also explore 4 ways to experience God using the Wesleyan Quadrilateral.

This lesson will help students understand where the Bible came from and how it came to be throughout history. Students will examine how we, as United Methodists, look at Scripture.

This lesson will help students examine the Holy Trinity and how it helps us understand God. Students will also examine the many specific ways in which we use to perceive God.

This lesson will help students begin to understand what prayer is and how to practice it on a regular basis. Students will also be encouraged to be still and know God.
