Another year, another season to hunt hops! Come join Summit Land Conservancy and Wasatch Brewing as we hike along Park City hillsides protected by the Conservancy. We will be seeking wild-growing hop binds, discussing local history, and identifying native and invasive species along the way.
Hikes will begin at 9:30 and will last around 2 hours. Participants should wear hiking shoes and sunscreen. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash and friendly! Make sure to bring a snack and plenty of water.
By early fall, we hope to harvest the hops with your help! Once the hops are harvested, a limited edition open space beer will be brewed and sold through Wasatch Brewery and featured at the Conservancy's annual Hoppy Hour event! A portion of the profits from the truly local brew will be given to the Conservancy to protect additional open spaces in Summit County!
