We need your help in fighting food insecurity in the Bethesda area!
Please consider volunteering on a Thursday eve from 6:30 - 8:30 pm or on a Friday from 10:30 - 12:00 or 12:00 - 3:00 pm to help feed 220 local families in need. Nourishing Bethesda Coalition will supply families with enough fresh produce and shelf-stable grocery items to feed a family of four for five days. But we need your help!
The Coalition has committed to provide this service every Friday afternoon through the winter, so we need plenty of volunteers to help with guiding traffic, replenishing tables and loading cars, Please sign up for as many Friday’s as you can. We have a job that is right for you!
Please dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather (including your mask). We will also be providing face shields that we ask you to wear if you are volunteering in a position that has contact with others. You may want to bring a water bottle. Before the distribution, we will email you with more details.
We also welcome tax-deductible financial donations to help underwrite this program. Please click here and in the drop-down box, please choose ‘Nourishing Bethesda’. Your support is very appreciated and will go directly to supporting this project!
Thank you for making our community a better place.
