Muletown Rec Pool Fundraising

Muletown Rec Pool Pledges for Advertising

Thank you for your interest in supporting Maury County Aquatics programs!  If the Muletown Rec pools close, there will be NO access to an indoor pool in Maury County. No more swim teams, no more therapy pool, no place to swim for exercise…  a huge step backward for Maury County. It would mean children have fewer opportunities for learning to swim than they did in the 70’s. We pleaded with Muletown Rec to let us come up with an alternative before they closed the pools.  We went to the City and they responded!! Under Mayor Molder’s leadership they agreed to a deal that would provide memberships to City employees which would be a good revenue stream for Muletown Rec and the pools.  However, the challenge is that the pools need about $350,000 worth of repairs to even be viable. The city cannot fund these. The county has shown no interest in trying to help in any way. We must act quickly... we only have until August 31. We are seeking pledges for the following advertising tiers to support the repairs and save our pool.  The signs will remain in place at Muletown Rec for two years.
