Potter's House Evening Meal
Volunteers from St. Pius X and St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Churches come together at the Potter's House Community Kitchen on the 3rd Friday of every month to create a menu, shop and prepare the evening meal for the 100 residents Greensboro Urban Ministry's night shelter. Potter's House kitchen is located within Greensboro Urban Ministry at 305 W. Gate City Blvd. (kitchen entrance is at the rear of the building-use the Eugene Street entrance to parking lot).
St. Paul and St. Pius X volunteers plan and prepare the meal while volunteers from several other churches join us to set up, serve, and provide fellowship to the guests.
The volunteer positions include:
Monthly Team Leader and a Co-Leader create a menu in advance, shop and bring the food to the Potter's House at 5:00 pm the 3rd Friday of the month. If the Team Leader prefers to do this all on their own, they can sign up for both slots or make a note in the comments section.
Food Preparation volunteers arrive at 5:00 pm and, together with the Team Leaders, participate in all tasks of meal preparation. If you are signing up for more than just yourself, please note the amount of people in the comments section.
Thank you for joining us to do God's work in our community at Potter's House.
