Thank you for your interest in participating in Media Borough’s second traffic-calming Street Mural Project!  We are delighted that you want to join us.

Part of Media Borough Traffic Calming Plan’s recommendations to include street art as a traffic-slowing feature, this project is co-sponsored by the Borough of Media, Media Arts Council, and Transition Town Media.  

Things to know:

• The location is 3rd and Monroe.
• Adults and children ages 9-12 years old are welcome. Children 9-12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
• Younger children can create their own chalk designs with their adult at a nearby location.
• Paint, brushes, rollers, and chalk will be supplied.
• Painting volunteers:  Please be there on time for your time slot or we may have to bump you to the next available slot.
• Plan to arrive about 5 minutes before your time slot begins.  Look for the sign that says “CHECK-IN”.  The person at the CHECK-IN table will check off your name and tell you where to go next.

You can sign up for time slots for two different volunteer activities at the Sign-Up Genius link below.

1. You can volunteer for “Painting” in half-hour time slots.  You may select up to two painting slots. 
2. You can also volunteer for any of six non-painting volunteer jobs in one-hour time slots. All volunteers will receive guidance to get them started on their jobs. You may select as many non-painting slots as you wish.
