St. B's Youth
For February and March, we are inviting all youth to come join a “Quaran-team” for our 11 am Formation Hour on Sundays! We will spend the next two months in small groups to discuss who the Trinity is with our team of amazing adult volunteers. We are asking youth to commit to joining us for eight weeks with the same crew of students to get to know their peers better and build community.
This programming will be different than our fall formation experience, which had a large group experience and a weekly sign up. Now, we are asking all youth to register once for a small group and we will check in every week to see if they are going to be joining us.
We will have three groups that will meet inside the church building and three groups that will be meeting outside. Please pick the option that best reflects your family’s preferences.
Parents, with us being in smaller communities, our hope is to limit opportunity for viral transmission, but it does mean that if our adult small group leader is unable to make it, we may need to combine group or find a subsitute leader for that group. We will let you know if and when that is the case by Thursday of that week. If you are interested in volunteering as a subsistute adult volunteer, please let Alysha know to add you to our roster.
St. Bartholomew’s takes your safety seriously. We have implemented protective measures in keeping with local and national public health guidelines to mitigate the risk posed by COVID- 19. At the same time, it is impossible for us to guarantee your safety. All public activities, including in-person worship, have risks related to the virus at this time. By entering you agree that you understand this, assume the risk of exposure to the virus, and agree to release and hold the parish harmless from any claim associated with exposure to the virus. In order for us to better care for our congregants, staff, and broader community, we ask that you follow all posted guidelines and verbal instructions while in the building or on church grounds.
If you would like more information for the specific ways the Youth Minsitry is working with the overall Covid-19 safety goals of the parish, please see the attached file.
