Sanderlin
In honor of the life and legecy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. the Sanderlin IB World School PTSA, League of Women Voters, and Lakeview Presbyterian Church are hosting a community cleanup. Our Day of Service will be in the surrounding Sanderlin area (not on school campus) along 22 Ave. S. on Monday, January 18 from 9:30-12:30.
We will be requiring participants (kids and adults) to wear facemasks. If you do not bring one, we will provide you with a disposable mask. We ask that you utilize the Sign Up Sheet to pick a designated time slot so that we can maintain distance between arrivals to ensure social distancing and prepare enoung clean up supplies.
The Check In area will be right in front of the Sanderlin Center, 2335 22nd Ave. S., with a table of wipes, hand sanitizer, latex gloves, and trash bags to provide to participants. Each participant group (i.e. family) will be assigned to a particular block for litter/debris pick up, which will also reduce crowding.
We recommend that you bring items such as reusable work/garden gloves, reusable water bottles, sunscreen, and bug spray.
Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Feel free to contact Julia Sharp with questions/comments at [email protected] Thank you!
