Hello Lumen Christi Families,
Please help us continue to make the Dessert Dash one of the most successful fundraising activities of our annual Light in the City Dinner! Attendees bid on the honor of getting their first choice from a wide variety of luscious desserts that WE provide. Our guests take their dessert selections very seriously and this is a fun and entertaining portion of the evening.
We are requesting that each school family ask your local bakery or favorite restaurant to donate a dessert to feed a table of 10 people (an even dozen is fine, too). Participating donors will be recognized on our Facebook page, identified at the dessert table, and are invited to display business cards if desired. All YOU need to do is solicit those donations and bring the dessert to the dinner with you. We have created a form you can take with you to aid in the solicitation process. A hard copy of this form will go home in the Friday folder, and links are provided on our school website and within the Friday communications email.
If soliciting a dessert from a local business is not feasible, please consider purchasing and donating one as a family. As a reminder, our venue does NOT allow homemade desserts. The dinner is July 12, 2020. If your bakery has a wide selection of dessert options, cakes and cheesecakes are always quite popular.
