IHN Hosting week of December 24th, 2017

We have the following jobs during our hosting weeks:
Dinner-People to provide dinner for approximately 22 guests. Entails planning the menu with coordinator Perri Schenker, shopping for all kosher ingredients (reimbursement is available if needed), preparing the meal at Adath Israel under kosher supervision, setting up and serving at 5:45, and cleaning up. Perri and the Adath Israel staff will be available for guidance. You may sign up as an individual or a group. If a group, please cancel out all extra slots.
Evening Hosts: Shift is from 5:15-8:00. Each evening is in need of two people, at least one adult and a child of 13 and older. You eat with the families, interact with them, and help them pack lunches.
Activity hosts: Shift is 6:00-9:00. Each evening is in need of two people, at least one adult and a child of 10 and older. A family can do this. PERFECT FOR B'NAI MITZVAH KIDS. Activities are planned, but you carry out these activities and play with the kids and interact with the families.
Overnight hosts: Shift is 8:30 PM-7:00 AM (8:00 on weekends). Each evening is in need of two people 18 and older. You interact with families until 10:00. This is when quiet time begins. You sleep at the synagogue in a private room and help with breakfast the next morning. Wifi available!
Set up: 1st Sunday of hosting week 10:00-12:00.
Tear down:2nd Sunday of hosting week 10:00-12:00
Laundry: On the 2nd Sunday of hosting week, take laundry to your home, wash, dry, fold, and return to synagogue.
Shoppers: With the guidance of Evy Margolin, you shop prior to hosting week and bring groceries to the synagogue at scheduled time.
Committee Lead: one member of the IHN committee will be on-site in case a problem arises.
