Join us for two Storytelling events at Spotlight on the Arts at Veterans Amphitheatre. A zoom link to the auditions will be emailed to those who have signed up by the day of the auditions.
These auditions on March 28 from 1-2:30 for kids and 2:30-4pm for adults- please see descriptions below and on our website for your age group's theme.
“Unmasked…” Tales of Unprecedented Times (Sunday, May 2)

***Whatever your pandemic story may be, we want to hear it! They should be about 5-8 minutes long. For the audition: If you have already have your pandemic story, we would love to hear a 1-minute version of it. If you do not have it yet, you can perform any 1-minute story that you choose. The goal is to PERFORM the story, and not just tell it. Tell us in the most interesting way possible.
*Anyone from High School to Great Grandma/Grandpa may audition!
*** Please note, if you are a great story writer, but would prefer someone else to perform your story, you may have an actor/storyteller perform your story on your behalf, but you must have the individual audition as usual (as if they are the storyteller.) You need to preselect the individual.
“All I Really Need to Know…” – Lessons Learned in Little Lives (Sunday, May 9)
Visit our website to read full description of the event. ***This is open to all ages from KG-Grade 8! Stories can be from 3-6 minutes. For the audition: If you have a part of your “lesson” story, we would love to hear a 1-minute version of it. If you do not have it yet, you can perform any 1-minute story that you choose. The goal is to tell the story in the MOST interesting way possible!
