Junior PAWS

The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria is excited to share our virtual humane education program, Junior Pet Advocacy and Wildlife Series (PAWS), with your family!

Junior PAWS is a series of humane education lessons ranging from crafts to careers. Lessons utilize Zoom to bring fun and learning directly to kids and their families at home! Families who register will be emailed the Zoom meeting link and password along with any digital resources needed for their lesson the day of the lesson.

New lessons will be posted weekly, so please check back regularly for more opportunities to learn!

We look forward to learning with you and your family each week! And if you are looking for even more activities for young animal advocates, check out our Youth Programs page with more at-home activities by clicking HERE.

If you have other questions about our Virtual Humane Education Programs, please email us at [email protected]

Please note: All youth participants must have parent/guardian permission in order to participate. Children in elementary school or younger should have a parent/guardian with during the zoom meeting in case their child needs assistance, especially with craft time
