Saint Robert Bellarmine Parish Community Outreach

Bag Lunches for February 10

It's soup truck season again at Lazarus House! We will be providing soup and bag lunches once per month for January, February, and March.

Soup: The parish Women’s Group has signed on to prepare all of the soup for this run. They will be getting together to cook on Friday or Saturday this week. If you would like to join in or learn more, please contact Jean Tornatore at [email protected]

What do we need for the bag lunches?

120 Sandwiches--ham and cheese this month

120 Baked treats--make them yourself or buy them; just wrap them up as individual treats that can be dropped into a lunch bag

120 Snacks--granola bars, individual chip bags, fruit, etc. that can be dropped in with the lunch

When do we need it?

Drop off donations at church on the weekend of February 9/10. Perishables should be left in the fridge in Driscoll Hall kitchen. Non-perishables may be left on top of the Neighbors in Need bin in the vestibule or dropped off in the kitchen. We will pack up lunches for delivery after the 11:00 am Mass on Sunday, February 10.

Sign up for a dozen...sign up for more than a dozen! Sign up full for the item you wanted to prepare? Bring it along anyway! 120 lunches is our base line but going over means more full bellies. :)
