PLEASE READ - INSTRUCTIONS AND PROTOCOLS FOR CONFESSIONS AT HOLY TRINITY
Because we must limit the number of attendees to minimize the risk of the spread of disease, and in order to avoid “turning people away” at our doors, we ask that you sign up for the Sacrament of Reconciliation through these Sign Up Genius links. **NOTE: These confessions at Holy Trinity are intended for our own parishioners only at this time.
Please do not come to Confession if you are sick or know you have been exposed to someone who is sick. All Confession attendees will be required to:
1) Bring their own mask/face covering from home and wear it at all times, 2) Bring their own hand sanitizer from home and sanitize their hands before and after confession. [The church will have a very limited supply of hand sanitizer], 3) Practice social distancing (at least six feet between non-related persons) at all times.
To sign up for Confession:
- Choose a slot in the sign up below and fill out the required information. ALL SIGN UPS ARE ANONYMOUS TO OTHERS SIGNING UP. You will receive an email confirmation of your spot from Sign Up Genius. On the day you signed up for, enter at the front entrance of church and check in with the greeter volunteer who will confirm your name on the list. While in line (along the St. Joseph side aisle), please practice social distancing between you and other attendees by following the marks on the floor and be sure to make your Act of Contrition during that time in order to make your confession as effecient as possible. After your confession is concluded, please exit the church immediately. You will need to do your penance in the Church parking lot or at home so that preparations can begin for the next Mass.
Please limit your sign up to one confession every four weeks so that you allow others to avail themselves of the Sacraments before returning yourself. Those individuals who are considered "vulnerable" (over the age of 60 and/or underlying medical condition such as diabetes; lung disease; undergoing cancer treatment, etc.) should consider staying at home until more information is obtained about their safety in public spaces.
We look forward to seeing you back at church!
