Snoqualmie Valley Seed Exchange
Weather update: As of Thursday night, Feb. 6, the roads are open to Duvall. As less rain is forecast for Saturday, we anticipate opening the exchange as planned on Saturday.
Check the roads before you go https://www.kingcounty.gov/depts/local-services/roads/traffic-cams.aspx
You are our seed and garden knowledge people.
You will be joining other knowledgeable people to give instruction to the public who come to exchange free seed. You will demonstrate how to use envelopes, write information or take pictures of seed packets for successful seed collection and eventual germination. As experienced gardeners you are able, not only to answer questions about seeds and plants, but help guests select the right quantity and type of seed for their situation. But don’t worry – no one knows all there is to know, that’s why there are lots of volunteers with you in the ‘U’. If you feel stumped just ask the person next to you. Someone is likely to have an answer and if not, that’s ok too. We all come to learn. Even seed ‘U’ volunteers!
