Senior Regional Orchestra (SRO) Auditions
on Saturday, September 21, 2018
8 am - 2 pm
The role of interpreter is a very important part of the SRO Auditions. Since the auditions are "blind", meaning students are identified by number only and the judges are not allowed to see or hear the student who is auditioning, interpreters are needed to facilitate any communication between the student and the judges during the student's audition. Interpreters will remain in the audition room and help each student before, during, and after the audition. Students are not allowed to speak during the audition, so if they have a question, the interpreter will ask the question to the judge. Other volunteers are needed to welcome and register auditioning students and to escort a student or group of students to and from the audition room.
