2021 Legacy Pit Crew
Thanks for volunteering for one of the most vital pieces of the Marching Band Season! Your help is very appreciated! As we get closer to each performance, an email will be sent with more specific times, locations and any other necessary details.
Performance times for festivals will be random. Afternoon performance times will be posted approximately 1 week prior to the event. Evening performance times will be announced on the afternoon of the event.
Only 30 parent volunteers will be allowed on the field for all CBA sanctioned events, this includes Pit, Panels and Props! 30 Colored wristbands will be handed out for Prelims and then 30 different colored wristbands for Finals. Football games are NOT included in this rule.
Preferred attire for volunteers is a Pit Crew Shirt, Navy blue polo or Legacy Band polo with khaki pants or shorts.
We will need 4-5 parent volunteers minimum to help load the truck at Legacy H.S. about an hour before the bus leaves Legacy H.S. for the game/event.
We ask that ALL band parents assist with the unloading of the truck so that all the students may go home quickly after a game or performance.
Pit Crew volunteers will be admitted to the field only (you do not need to pay to volunteer), to enter the stadium/stands for seating, you must purchase a wristband/ticket at the event for admittance.
Please make sure that all cell phones are turned off during line-ups and performances.
