Lake Raponda Association

Invasive Aquatic Species Paddle

We will look for invasive aquatic species in the lake and photograph aquative plants for inclusion in iNaturalist. Laurie Callahan, SE VT Aquatic Invasive Species Project Coordinator will lead us.

Plan to arrive 15 minutes early at the Vermont State Boat Launch area at the north end of Raponda next to the greeter shed. Come with your non-motorized canoe, kayak or row boat (a few loaners are available by contacting Jack Widness (802-464-8981), and bring polarized sun glasses for better viewing of water plants.

Date: 08/30/2019 (Fri.)

Time: 9:00am - 12:00am EDT

Location: Boat launch area at north end of Lake Raponda
