Objectives: I often refer to perio as the foundation of oral health as so much depends on it.  Understanding how to properly assess and diagnose is critical to determine the prognosis and treatment options.  This presentation is a review of diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options with guidelines for when to refer to a periodontist.

Instructor: Dr Kyle Malloy was a dental student at OHSU and graduated with Great Honors and received awards in Oral Surgery, Implant Dentistry, Operative Dentistry and Dental Material Research after being selected by the faculty as the top student in each category. Following graduation, Dr. Malloy elected to pursue further surgical training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery at OHSU.
