September's HOPE (Help Other People Eat) Sign-up

Here at God's Love we have several opportunities to serve food to the less fortunate. Through our own program, HOPE (Help Other People Eat), we provide bagged meals each Wednesday. Also, we provide hot meals on Sundays called "Sunday Supper". To streamline the process all food donations will be on one sign-up.

This month the collection will be for:

1. Wednesdays’ To Go Meals: You can sign-up to donate sandwiches, fruit, snacks, dessert, juice boxes or water. Please bring your donation to the church lobby by 11:30 on Wednesday. Look for the collection containers on the right hand side of the lobby (open 24/7).

2. Sunday Supper: You can sign-up to make 25 hot meals (ex: pasta, casserole, soup, chili, meat/veggie/potato, etc). To go containers and insulated bags are provided. At 4:00 the meals can be either brought to the church or picked up from your house.

You can sign up to help deliver the meals to people who are homeless in Bristol (Rt # 13 & Green Lane under the turnpike bridge) at 4:30 on Sunday. You will be given some background information plus someone will be there to accompany you.

You can turn in your receipt and be reimbursed.
