Good Neighbor Garden

Thank you very much for volunteering to help with the Good Neighbor Garden! Please sign-up for as many weeks as you'd like between May and October. You can choose any week(s) you want. Weeks run from Monday - Sunday.  Please plan on coming to the garden a few times during your week(s) at whatever time is convenient. When picking your date(s) be mindful that there will not be very much to do in the beginning, it will be sometime before harvest time, the season may end before/after the dates in October and that gardening is unpredictable. 

Here's what to do:

Weeding/harvesting: 

1. Pull any weeds from inside the garden. Weeds can be thrown into the dumpster. We have a tool that lets you weed standing up!!!

2. Check plants for any damage (pests, critters eating them, unhealth looking, etc.) and if you see any report it to Sandy Anthony right away.

3. Pick when things look ripe. More information will be coming on when to pick and what to do with the produce once it's picked - stay tuned!

Delivering the produce:

If you would like to deliver the produce to a pantry please let Sandy Anthony know and you'll be added to the list and called when there is produce to be delivered.
