Turner Syndrome Support Group of Kansas City
Please RSVP no later than August 1st. Thank you.
The Annual TS Mother/Daughter Campout is for girls ages 7-18 and their mother or female guardian. We will have educational speakers and activities, the challenge course (tentative), crafts, food and FUN! Below is some initial information. An itinerary will come later!
Please note: In years past, we were able to offer this camp at little to no charge, however, this year we are out of funding. There will be a small fee of $50/couple or less in order to pay for the above services (includes lodging and food). The more participants that sign up the less cost for everyone. Please reach out to us if you are unable to participate due to financial need. We want everyone to be able to come. Camp cost will be posted as soon as camp participant numbers are in.
We have reserved 3 cabins that hold 7 bunk beds each accommodating up to 14 per cabin. (Final number of cabin rentals will be based on amount of participants signed up.) Beds will be selected on a first come, first serve basis. Girls will be allowed to sleep in the "No moms" cabin with moms sharing the cabin located directly next door. Girls can also share lodging with their mom and will have to rock, paper, scissor for who gets the top bunk. Each truly beautiful rustic cabin has 7 bunkbeds with twin mattress, small bedside tables as well as lighting and electricity. NO air conditioning or heat is available. A central bath house with sinks, toilets and warm running showers are available for all cabins to share.
