Sunday Streets 2018
SFSU School of Nursing is partnering with the Health Disparities Reduction Project, SF Department of Public Health, Parks and Rec, Livable SF, and local clinics at Sunday Streets Health Fairs. Our goal is to empower members of our SF community to take charge of their health through one-on-one screenings, education, and wellness planning. Target health issues include hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, and BMI.
Join in on the fun! Help reduce health disparities in SF!
Required Skills include health screening (BP, glucose/cholesterol, BMI). This is a great opportunity to connect with our community, cultivate your assessment skills, and learn about public health resources in SF. (Level 1 students need to be paired up with a higher level student)
Please allow 30 minutes before Morning shift and 15 minutes after afternoon shift for set up/orientation and clean up.
