Support the Emergency Shelter Partnership
We are so pleased that CBY has once again joined with the Emergency Shelter Partnership to help house the local homeless of Northern Westchester this winter. We will be helping the faith groups that have joined together to support the Emergency Shelter Partnership in providing warm meals & shelter for those in need. This year, to ensure everyone's safety, only a select few volunteers will be transporting the donated items to the church in Mt. Kisco where the guests will get their hot meals, breakfast items, and lunches. We are very happy to be once again working together with several local faith-based organizations: Together with Hillside Church, Congregation B’nai Yisrael, and Saint Nersess Armenian Orthodox Seminary, we’re preparing now to welcome our homeless guests from Sunday, March 28th through Saturday, April 3rd. We expect to host an average of about 20-25 guests per night in this effort. March 23 UPDATE/EDIT: This year, due to a lack of refrigeration at the designated sites, we are only being asked to provide the hardboiled eggs and clementines. If you are able to make a small donation instead of your item, please Venmo me @beth-mayers (my cel 917.903.1632) or write a check to St. Stephen's in Armonk, as they are purchasing all the snacks. If you Venmo me I will write one check to St. Stephen's for all donations directed to Emergency Shelter Partnership support. Many thanks.
March 30th and March 31st- We need your help-please sign up!
