Stream Cleanup Event Volunteers
Celebrate Earth Month by helping us keep our streams healthy as we clean up the Cranbury Brook along the Lenape Trail. Individuals, family and groups welcome. Help us clean up the trash along our waterways and keep garbage out of our waterways by joining us as we clean up around the Plainsboro area. Meet @ the Recreation Department parking lot between 8:30-8:45am am to pick up equipment before heading out on the trails. You will be assigned an area to clean up along with directions to your designated cleanup area. We will be carpooling to the designated so please make sure you have transportation.
This program is in conjunction with the Plainsboro Environmental Advisory Committee, Public Works Dept. and The Watershed Institute. Please wear boots or shoes that can get wet. Long pants and long sleeve shirts are recommended due to the ticks, poison ivy and the thorn bushes that we may encounter. Gloves will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. Participants must wear a mask during the cleanup and practice social distancing.
Remember: Meet @ the Recreation Department parking lot between 8:30-8:45am to pick up equipment before heading out on the trails.
