Isaac M. Wise Temple
Thank you for being a Wise Family Shelter volunteer!
Wise Family Shelter provides a shelter of peace to families experiencing temporary homelessness. We are a part of the larger Interfaith Hospitality Network.
Opening Hosts arrive first to greet guests and volunteers, Cooks provide meals for our guests, Socializers eat dinner with the guests and entertain their children, and the Overnight Hosts spend the night at Temple and set up breakfast for our guests the next morning. There are also sign ups for set up, take down, and laundry (linens and sheets get washed and brought back to Temple).
If you are registering more than just yourself (such as spouse and children), please indicate that in the comments section. If you are a Cook, please indicate what you might be bringing. If you are new to Wise Family Shelter, please also let us know.
