Join other FPC families at the Greensboro History Museum for a special summer program that explores history and activism through art! The program is for Prek-Middle School Youth. Parents are asked to stay with PreK-Elementary age students and are encouraged (but not required) to attend with middle shcoolers. Sign up for one of the three dates/times avaialble. (If the date you wish to attend is already full, please email Donna Chase at [email protected] to see if additional attendees can be accomodated.)
From the Museum:
The Greensboro History Museum Summer 2021 Program is about getting messy with art and learning just a bit about Greensboro’s history with protests. Inspired by our Pieces of Now Exhibit, which holds a large collection of murals, we will be outside the Greensboro History Museum, creating a mural together. The mural will continually change with each group that visits us this summer. Together we will play with paint and explore what it means to be an activist in a community.
Please be sure to have students wear clothes that they do not mind getting messy. Masks are required as well. Bring water and sunscreen because we will be outside.
