Importance of a Shared Meal: Biblically and culturally, the value of a shared meal is integral to growing community and staying involved with one another’s lives. We want for all of the youth to be able to gather around the dinner table once a week to experience Christian fellowship and camaraderie.
Responsibility: By signing up for one of the days below you are agreeing to provide dinner for the youth group on that evening. We will provide plates, utensils, napkins, and drinks. Desserts are welcome but optional. More than one person is welcome to sign up for a single date, just be sure to coordinate with anyone else sharing your date.
We usually feed 15-20 (including "seconds"; we have some voracious eaters!) and would like the food delivered by 6:00 pm that evening. We have a couple vegetarians and one vegan, so deconstructed meals work best to accommodate. If you want to make a meal but aren't sure how to make it vegan/vegetarian, contact a youth leader and we can work it out! Thanks!
