Music @ The Mines

On Sunday, August 19, Mt. Pisgah will be engaging our community in a big way – with a community concert and family fun event featuring our own Arise band performing contemporary Christian music. The event will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. at Midlothian Mines Park on Woolridge Road. That’s right – we’re taking our event off campus to reach our community where it is – a beautiful local park popular with dog-walkers, fitness enthusiasts, and Midlothian residents.

In addition to the music by Arise, the event will feature a variety of family-friendly activities, including face painting and crafts for the kids, corn-hole, a raffle with prizes, and snack food. Also at the event, we’ll distribute information about Mt. Pisgah and its activities, seek prayer requests from the community, and witness to our faith.

So, besides “engaging our community,” we’ll be loving God, inviting others and fellowshipping together – hitting every element of our Mt. Pisgah purpose statement.

Won’t you join us? We will need people to help us work at the event, donate snacks and bottled water, and just join in the fun! Please sign up below if you can help.

We hope you’ll plan to attend, and also to invite some friends, pick them up and bring them along to our Aug. 19 event at Midlothian Mines Park.
