Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery Visitor Center
Discover how the DNR raises millions of fish every year for Michigan's lakes, rivers and streams with a nearly half-mile walk on our nature trails and around hatchery buildings.
Participants will see hatchery ponds, learn about the history of the Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery, see a DNR Fish Stocking Truck and view live fish including Steelhead Trout, Chinook Salmon and possibly even Lake Sturgeon!
This program occurs entirely outdoors and will take place, rain or shine except in the event of dangerous or extreme weather.
Please dress appropriately for weather conditions.
Participants will not be going inside the hatchery.
Participants will view live fish at the Show Pond, the last stop on the tour.
SAFETY FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS: In accordance with required protocols to protect particpants during the current health crisis, all participants must adhere to the following:
1) Face coverings are required for the duration of the program.
2) All family groups must maintain a social distance of 6 feet or more from other family groups during the program.
3) We encourage all participants to wash hands immediately before and immediately after the program.
4) All participants are required to read and sign a Health Form, on site, prior to participating in the program. One form per family group.
