2018 IOP Connector Run and Walk for the Child - Community Volunteers

A big welcome to our Community of Volunteers!

We are so thankful to all of you, as you help to make this a successful and enjoyable event. 

  Check out the opportunities listed here and please SIGN UP

  • Registration:  Help with Friday and Saturday registration and packet pick-up.
  • The Race:  Help set up cones, hand out water, cheer and direct runners and walkers.
  • Post Party:  Help with water, food, play, and clean up at our fabulous post-race party.

WAIVER

By submitting this entry, Volunteers agree to the provisions of this waiver:  

Waiver:  In consideration of acceptance of the entry, I for myself, heirs, and assigns, hereby release the sponsors, race workers, and officials of this race from any and all liability arising from illness, injuries, and damages I may suffer as a result of participation in such event.  I attest that I am physically trained for this event and am aware that participation in any of these events could, in some circumstances result in severe injury.  I also give permission for free use of my name and picture in any broadcast, telecast, or written account of the event.  Should race officials determine that completion of the event would be injurious to my health, I consent to be removed from the course and treated by the physician in attendance of their direction.

Help vendors break down booths, take down tables and chairs, take down pop-up tents, signage, banners, etc. Put Ex Club items on trailer. Pick up and dump trash and roll bins to location.
